Getting Started
Inventino is a cloud-based inventory and point-of-sale management system designed for Nigerian businesses. This guide will walk you through everything you need to get your business up and running.
1. Create Your Account
- Visit inventino.shop/register and fill in your name, email, and password.
- Verify your email address via the confirmation link sent to your inbox.
- Log in and you'll be guided through the initial organization setup wizard.
2. Set Up Your Organization
Navigate to Settings → Organization to configure your business details:
- Business name, address, and contact information
- Currency and tax settings (VAT, levies)
- Receipt logo and business number
- Default branch configuration
3. Add Users & Assign Roles
Go to Settings → Users to invite team members:
Admin
Full access to all settings, reports, and configurations.
Manager
Access to daily operations, reports, and team management.
Cashier
POS access only — can process sales and view their own shift data.
Custom Roles
Create granular permission sets tailored to your structure.
Inventory Management
Products & Categories
Navigate to Inventory → Products to manage your catalog. Each product can have:
- SKU, barcode, category, and unit of measure
- Cost price, selling price, and multiple pricing tiers
- Low stock alert threshold and reorder point
- Images and detailed description
Stock Management
Stock levels update automatically when you process sales, purchases, and returns. You can also manually adjust stock via Inventory → Adjustments with a reason code and audit trail entry.
Stock Transfers (Multi-Branch)
On Pro and Enterprise plans, transfer stock between branches via Inventory → Transfers. The sending branch records a deduction; the receiving branch records a receipt upon confirmation.
POS System
The POS interface is designed for speed. Open a sale, search or scan products, apply discounts, select a payment method, and complete the transaction.

Returns & Refunds
Navigate to Sales → Returns, select the original sale, choose items to return, and specify the refund method (cash, store credit, or exchange).
Reports & Analytics
Access all reports under the Reports menu. All reports can be filtered by branch, date range, and category, and exported to PDF or Excel.
Sales Report
Daily, weekly, monthly summaries with item breakdowns.
Profit & Loss
Revenue vs. cost of goods sold, gross profit margins.
Stock Valuation
Current stock value at cost and selling price per branch.
Expense Summary
Categorized expense tracking vs. revenue over time.
